In old testament times, flags are used in worship to honor God, signal His presence, declare our allegiance to him, boast of Victory, to rally troops to war, to combat spiritual warfare, to herald an event and show a sign of faith.   In worship we use flags to raise a "standard" before God. In the bible they are referred to as "Banners" and these banners would be used to identify the 12 tribes (Numbers 2:2). Each tribe had their own ensign.  Flags were also used to mark terrority conquered by armies (Isaiah 62:10).  Each color has a specific meaning and flag worship is a ministry that ushers in the anointing.

We use flags in our worship services today to war against ungodly principalities, to usher in His glory, to release freedom in worship for believers, for intercession, to set the atmosphere for prophetic acts and to EXALT THE NAME OF JESUS! Flagging signals God's presence and invites Him to move as He will. It not only sets an atmosphere of praise but allows the anointing to minister deliverance for those who desire it.
