Pastor Denise J. Williams was born October 27, 1961 in Brooklyn, NY. She's a second generation preacher
with four brothers and no sisters. She was educated in the NYC public school, graduating from Bay Ridge High school in
June 1979. She then obtained an Associate degree in Computer Science from Monroe College in 1996 and awarded the Monroe
Scholarship grant for academic achievement. She further her education and graduated from Everest University in Jacksonville,
FL with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. Her efforts gained her an induction into the Alpha Beta Kappa
National Honor Society. In 2008 she was awarded a doctorate degree from Abundant Life International Fellowship Inc. Bible
College.
Pastor Williams accepted Jesus as her Lord and savior on April 18, 1982. In 1984, she was ordained as a
missionary then later ordained an Evangelist in June 1986. Her passion is to reach young people with the gospel and minister
to women. She's worked in many genres of ministry and her duties have included but were not limited to: Sunday school
teacher, event coordinator, church clerk, usher, janitor, youth minister, choir director, intercessor and bible study instructor.
In
November of 2006, she founded BROKEN VESSEL OUTREACH MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL, INC. She's spearheaded missions
work in India in March of 2008. Through donations from Broken Vessel Outreach Ministries, orphans are cared for and other
ministry efforts have are funded.
Pastor Williams currently hosts worship services at the Emeritus Assisted living facility on Jacksonville's
south side every Saturday morning. Also, she hosts her own radio. Her show, "Devotions with Denise" can
be found on WNVY 1070AM -
7:30-7:45 PM in Pensacola, FL and WFAM 1050AM - 8:00-8:15 PM in
Augusta, GA. In addition, since January 2008 she has developed a correspondence prision ministry. Bibles, monthly
newsletters, books, cards and letters of encouragment are regularly sent to the incarcerated. This ministry also assists the
families of the inmates as well.
