Denise J. Williams was
born on October 27th 1961 in Brooklyn, New York. At the encouragement of a former English teacher, she discovered her passion for writing. Her
work can be found on websites such as EzineArticles.com, Poetry.com & AuthorsDen.com. In 2002, one of her poems was
featured in the "Best Poems & Poets of 2002" published by the International Library of Poetry.
In 2009 WOW Magazine featured one of her articles in their January issue. CALLED
magazine has also published an excerpt of one of her articles in their March/April issue of that same year. “The Healing Of A Broken Vessel” is the author's first literary
effort and has been listed in Spring Arbor, Ingram's Christian wing's database. This makes her title available to retailers
who focus on Christian oriented books.
She holds a Doctorate
of Divinity and is a member of the Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society. The
author currently resides in Jacksonville, FL with
her Staff Sergeant husband who made a career in the military. She volunteers her time to local charities, ministers the
word of God and is an inspirational writer. She is currently penning her second book entitled,
"The Chambers Of The Heart".
